2.2 Controlling Access

Dogs are as intelligent as the average two-year-old child, according to research by animal psychologists. They are able to understand that humans are valuable to them if we control access to the things they want. Conversely, if they are given free access to their wants, we are not deemed as valuable to them.
The four most important things to dogs are (1) Food (2) Freedom (3) Fun (4) Affection.
In this course, we will learn how to use these as tools in building our value to them.
